Ivan Bartolome Senior Vice President

Ivan most recently served for eight years as the Administrative Director for Cardiovascular Services at Shawnee Mission Medical Center, the second largest hospital in the metro Kansas City area.  Before he was a hospital operations and product line leader, he served several organizations in various marketing leadership roles.  Those organizations include: Shawnee Mission Medical Center, The University of Kansas School of Nursing, and three hospitals in the Dallas-Fort Worth area.

Ivan has a master’s degree in Health Services Administration from the University of Kansas and a bachelor’s degree in Corporate Communication from Southwestern Adventist University (SWAU).  He is married to Sonja Bartolome, MD, a faculty physician, specializing in Pulmonary & Critical Care Medicine, at the University of Kansas Medical Center.

Bartolome has served as president of the Kansas City, Kansas Rotary Club and on the Board for the Wyandotte County, Kansas Red Cross.  He also served as chair of the marketing committee for the United Way of Wyandotte County’s (Kansas City, Kansas) campaign committee.  In addition, he has served as Head Elder at the New Haven Seventh-day Adventist Church, on the board of a Christian academy in Shawnee, Kansas, as President of the Alumni Association at SWAU and as President of the Crowley (Texas) Area Chamber of Commerce
