Administrator Needed for an NCI Community Cancer Center

FaithSearch Partners has been retained to manage the search for the Administrator of Oncology Services at The Cancer Program of Our Lady of the Lake Regional Medical Center and the Mary Bird Perkins Cancer Center in Baton Rouge, Louisiana.

Our Lady of the Lake is a 740-bed hospital and is the largest private hospital in Louisiana.  It is also the flagship hospital of the Franciscan Missionaries of Our Lady Health System.  The hospital recently broke ground on a nine-story, 330,000 square foot patient bed tower that will open in 2013. The Mary Bird Perkins Cancer Center is adjacent to the hospital.  The Cancer Center serves 18 parishes in southeast Louisiana and offers world-class radiation therapy options for a wide range of cancer cases.

The Baton Rouge metro area has a population of more than 800,00 people and is home to Louisiana State University.  The University has announced plans to make Our Lady of the Lake its clinical site in Baton Rouge for graduate medical education and training for new physicians.

The new Administrator for Oncology Services will oversee The Cancer Program at Our Lady of the Lake and the Mary Bird Perkins Cancer Center. This combined program is one of only 30 programs selected to be an NCI Community Care Centers Program (NCCCP).
